Grateful Learned

Something that I have learned that was really grate full and informational for me was about the Internet strangers, kidnappers and sex offenders. One time I was at the library with my mom and I saw a girl that was chatting with this man , I told my mom that the chatting words were inappropriate. He had told her some mean and ugly nasty things, at that moment I said she should be careful. The next day I was watching the news and they had said that a 14 yr old was missing since yesterday night. My mom sat down with me In the couch and told me honey you need to know the consequences of the strangers never ever chat In the Internet the chat Is mostly just about older people acting like if they are young man but they are not they just want young girls to mess with them.
The 2ND thing Is that she also told me about strangers In the streets. One time I was walking with my little cousin to the store because my uncle had send me to buy a coke for them to drink, so on the way to the store I always pray when I'm alone and everything was OK but a on the way home I was scared because there was this drunk guy who looked scary and he was following me and my little cousin , when I was crossing the street he was like 'hey baby" at that moment I was freak in scared and started to run since then I'm scared to go to the store alone or walk alone somewhere. My mom said when that happens run and keep on running if he catches you or does something to you keep fighting kick him, scratch him so you can defend yourself.
I am very glad that I know about strangers and how to fight against them.

Using Math With A Social Issue?

How can I use math with my social Issue? Well I think that I can use math with my social issue could be maybe using fractions because I will find out that more than 1/3 of the teenagers become teenage mothers, now that's a way to use fractions. I would also be using percentage because I think that fractions and percentages are almost the same because 1/3 would become 75%. How can I use math on a game? The ways I think I should use math in a game would be like maybe compare the percentage of teenage pregnancy in each state maybe to help my game be more helpful to say the truth about which state needs to get help from someone to stop teenage pregnancy. I can also use math to help me figure out what money or kind of needies that I need to create my game become more helpful that way I can do It easily. Also I can use it to figure out how much money do teen parents use every year in buying the stuff for their baby because diapers cost a lot of money specially the milk which costs about $15 - $20 see I just used the percentage about the money.

I think I didn't really tried my best because when I got my test back I had a low score the 2ND reason I thought I did bad was because all the problems were algebraic problems and I don't like algebra It's really had for me. What I can do to be more successful In math class could be that maybe I should be more focused in math than the other classes because mostly math is the important class, because of the taks test. What my teacher can do to help me succeed would me to give me a study guide packet that says all the problems of math and how to deal with them, for example: how to add fractions and then say step by step of what you should do. Also explain the difficulty words in an easier way.
