When you use rational numbers maybe they mean that you should also include whole numbers so that can help you figure out the problem. All rational numbers , whole numbers will help you figure out the problem just by using them. I searched that generate means to bring to life to cause to open it so that got me an Idea of what I wrote because they want you to generate rational numbers. Also because it says to use the whole numbers and other stuff. Rational Numbers are mostly numbers that represent themselves as fractions It also means any number that can be divided by one integer as a whole number.
